Training week 14

Objective

w Complete a whole course split into sections
w Continue teaching weave entry

4 Small pieces of the long jump were set up close together.
All the jumps and the tyre are set to 18"
The A frame was also set to 1 from top level.
The weave poles are still slightly staggered for some dogs but straight up for others.

Course
A flowing course was set up this week which we split into sections. At the end of the evening the course was completed as a whole. The see-saw was taught as a separate piece of equipment outside the barn.

Section One                         
Recall through the tyre and send into weaves move with dog "straight" across the box, turn "right" then "straight" across the box again sending away to toy after jump 8.

Section Two
Start behind jump 8 with your dog on your left. Send over jump and cross behind, complete this section at jump 14. Remember to give your turn commands at every opportunity and to wait your dog on the touch points while you go past then call off.

Section Three
Start with the dogs back paws on the A frame touch point with you on the right. Walk to jump 14 and call, send over and cross behind, finish the section at jump 21 by sending to toy (need we say this ).
